by The Matcher Team
Last week, 24 colleagues from six different countries came together in the UK for an energising and impactful Collaboration Week at IMT Matcher. It was more than just a meeting of people, it was a convergence of cultures, expertise, and shared ambition, designed to strengthen our teams, hone our mission and accelerate our growth projects.
Over the course of the week, we focused on deepening our understanding of both our users and ourselves. From real-world IVF user testing to detailed process reviews, we worked collaboratively to ensure our solutions are aligned with the rapidly evolving needs of our Matcher users in this ever-changing industry. Emily and Alejandra also ran a brilliantly competitive hands-on witnessing competition, which immersed the whole company into our end users day to day pain points and difficulties. It was a fantastic way to help us all identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
We also looked ahead to one of the biggest events in our industry calendar—the ESHRE Annual Meeting. Through dedicated planning sessions, we explored how to make the most of our presence there, and the energy and creativity in the room was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together with a common goal.
But Collaboration Week wasn’t all work and no play. In true IMT Matcher spirit, we balanced our strategic sessions with some unforgettable team-building experiences. From the calming focus of pottery-making to the adrenaline-fueled fun of axe throwing, each activity brought a new dimension to our teamwork. Shared laughs over BBQs and beverages reminded us that strong relationships are built not just in meeting rooms, but around dinner tables and fire pits.
Throughout the week, our values were lived, not just discussed. We approached every challenge with integrity, held ourselves to a high standard of output, responded to ideas and feedback with agility, and showed what’s possible when collaboration isn’t just something we do—but how we work.
This week was more than productive, it was a reminder of what makes us Matcher. Thank you to everyone for bringing energy, openness, and purpose. As we return to our respective countries, we carry that momentum with us, reinforcing our view that it’s more than just Collaboration Week, it’s Collaboration Life.
