Overview
IMT Matcher™ is a product from Matcher Technologies Ltd., a medical technology company that develops, implements and supports quality management systems for the assisted reproductive technology (ART) industry worldwide.
Our main product, IMT Matcher, is a quality management system specifically created for the fertility sector, to help prevent errors through misidentification of patients, donors and their gametes, and embryos. IMT Matcher also helps customers provide traceability, ensures regulatory compliance, and assists their operations to enhance and optimise outcomes.
The IMT Matcher system comprises software and networked IT hardware, within the fertility centre laboratories, cryo stores, operating rooms, and product storage areas. Matcher delivers major benefits to all users, including the embryologists, laboratory directors, quality managers, doctors, nurses, and administration staff.
We are seeking a hard-working, professional, candidate with recent sales/account management experience. This individual will join our international sales team and will report to the Head of Sales. On a day-to-day basis they will be remote, working closely with all the other teams. These include development, marketing, service & support and finance
Main responsibilities:
This sales position has four main areas of focus:
- Managing and supporting existing distributors – Maintain, retain, upskill and develop relationships with a sub-set of our existing distributors through regular communication, answer any order queries the service & support team may have, conduct follow-up calls to ensure orders are fulfilled and paid in a timely manner. Propose training plans and organize training sessions for distributors. Organize workshops involving distributors and end users.
- Supporting the expansion of the distribution network – Identify and propose new distribution opportunities in the territory. Pre-qualify prospective distributors suitable to promote and sell Matcher in the territory. Manage the onboarding process of new distributors.
- Business Development – Develop a thorough understanding of our product and the target market, attend industry conferences, workshops and customers visits to help our distributors promote Matcher and generate leads, identify key contacts at prospective customer sites, contact leads to arrange meetings, and coordinate demonstrations with our Product Consultants. Identify other potential markets for our product. Assist existing distributors to prepare quotations and other sales documents, explain individual customer pricing plans to prospects and customers. Conduct sales negotiations, follow-up with prospects to get the contract signed. Manage this process to support price negotiations with our distributors, follow-up with prospects to get the order placed. Manage this process with your accounts.
- Account Management – Identify opportunities within our existing customer base, capitalise on these, identify threats relating to our existing customer base and to our target market so these can be avoided, regularly monitor the satisfaction and performance of each customer account, increasing their value where possible through increased sales.
To support all four areas of responsibility, the successful candidate will be required to travel internationally, typically up to a week per month, mostly to attend international industry events. They will need to be in frequent communication with their customer accounts.
Essential experience:
- A BA Hons degree (or equivalent) in business or a BSc degree (or equivalent) in biology or a related field
- Minimum 6 years recent experience in account management, sales or distribution management roles post-graduation
- Numerate, good mental arithmetic, and previous exposure to structured pricing models
- Professional and confident communication style
- Fluency in English
- Ability to travel internationally on a monthly basis, including UK, EU and Asia Pacific
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Proven experience demonstrating IMT’s core values: responsiveness, quality of outputs, collaboration and integrity
Desirable experience:
- Proficiency in additional languages
- Experience in the IVF Market
- Experience in distribution management
- MBA (or equivalent)
Candidates will be required to demonstrate examples of their application of these skills in previous roles. Development within the business will be available and is strongly encouraged. Therefore, an eagerness to progress and a positive, proactive attitude are also prerequisites.
